After they ended the square body trucks, the beds would pull apart at the spot welds. Things were mostly plastic, and the tin was cheap shit you couldn't even lean against without damaging the body.

These GM trucks left Ford, IH, and Jeep so far behind. Dodge did ok. The Dodge and these were all light-years beyond the others.

12:20 yea well you should have made those hood hinge plates where it bolts to the hood about 6 inches longer and SIX bolts for support, so that EVERY single 73-80 hood doesn’t fold/crack right at the hinge.
