Say Goodbye to Chassis Flex.Chassis flex or body flex will significantly reduce your 0 to 60 times on the dragstrip. The BBK Bolt-on Subframe Connectors will add some much needed structural integrity to your 1979 to 1993 Foxbody Mustang. Foxbody Mustangs are notorious for inadequate chassis bracing and, consequently, easily distort. These BBK Bolt-On Subframe connectors are an easy way to tie together the front and rear subframes to improve chassis rigidity, which will lead to better acceleratio, reduced wheel hop and cornering ability.
Strong and Durable Construction. Tough boxed steel is usd=ed in the construction of these BBK Bolt-on Subframe Connectors. The entire kit is sprayed with a metallic charcoal gray powder coat finish for good looks and excellent resistance to rust and corrosion. These Subframe connectors are have a bracket that lines up with the factory seat mounts to reinforce the area.
Some Drilling Required. You can easily install these BBK Subframe Connectors using simple hand tools. If bolting in place, it is likely you will need to remove the exhaust system from your 1979-1993 Mustang in order to gain enough clearance to work. Drilling is required into the subframe in order to bolt these reinforcing connectors in place. Expect this job to take 2-3 hours. You can also choose to weld the subframe connectors to the chassis if you require maximum chassis strength for racing and endurance applications.

Is there any way to tell if your frame is sagging before installing the subframes?

Iggy Vasconcelos these car's flex terribly!, if your door pins are good and your doors line up good you should be ok.. toss it up on stands "under rear axle and front control arms" on level ground and giver, need suspension under weight and always weld whatever connector you use.. I personally went with Maximum Motorsports full length.. absolutely love em.. my car was beyond twisted and tons of cracks had to be welded up after I put the connectors in. Mine being a Vert is a completly differnt car now.

@@83glxcrusin97 quick question. I think my brake lines where th er y mount to the frame on the passenger. There in the way. Is there a easy way to move them or move the mounting bracket so it slips right on just like the driver side?

@@zachutson7205 with mine I was able to slide / tweak my rear brake line on the rear RHS further outwards to gain the room I needed where it does that zig zag..

these BBK frames are great but sadly don't come with the additional instructions if you have a convertible as verts have an extra plate at the rear which needs to be removed at the rear of the torque box...

DONT DRILL IT !! think people 4 bolts in the frame hold it together ...weld it is the only way it wont rip up the frame ..these are NOT something you want to bolt in...strut tower yes this no way .
