The 1976 to '79 Cadillac Sevilles ALL had Bendix electronic fuel injection. Those with a carb have been altered, many were. There's lots of rubbish talked on the internet about this system, generally it was very good, most Sevilles I know (around the world) still run on EFI, including in Iran. It was basic zero intelligence meaning if a sensor died it stopped dead. Mostly the parts are available, some not cheap, but they are available. I see your car has export tail lamps? It was almost certainly sold new by Lendrum & Hartman in London, the only Cadillac/GM American car dealer in those days.

I'm amazed that fuel pump came back to life, they usually don't? Nice cloth interior and yes your car is a Lendrum & Hartman car, the RHD conversion tells you that. It sounds like it's missing, new plugs, leads, rotor arm and cap maybe?

Hi, the fuel pump in the tank was replaced, and the outer fuel pump was good.and Thanks for the information on the seville, I have already bought the plugs, leads rotor arm distributor cap ,rocker cover gaskets sump gasket auto gearbox gasket and filters spark plugs,but I haven't had the time to get back on it,do you work on cadillacs?

I have a 1976 Cadillac Seville. I have an issue with excellaration. It's fuel injection. I press the gas pedal, but it feels like there's a vacuum leak or maybe the throttle position sensor. Any ideas or suggestions?
