Hey. Thanks for tuning in. Hahaha! The two lines on the "throttle cam" are your low speed timing marks, that plastic piece, should be a roller, aka the "cam follower" needs to be between the timing marks just as the carburetors butterflies start to open. Hey. Thanks for tuning in. I use the STP Complete Fuel System Cleaner mixed with a little brake cleaner, gas and 2 stroke oil to keep it from evaporating to fast. It's really the STP that does the trick. Check out my carb cleaning video, the 2 most important things! Somebody recently told me they use straight lacquer thinner which has the same chemicals as carb cleaner but stronger. Its probably whats in the STP. I've haven't tried it yet, but it might be the ticket! Thanks again & Stay tuned !

If its just the water splashing all over from using the muffs, why not just go back to the muffs but cut the barrel in a way to shield the spray from the muffs away from your feet and the driveway....cheers Sorry I meant like cut one whole side off, use the muffs and let the water just deflect back and flow away.

kzbin.info/www/bejne/rn6qanltoNhoeJI Here's my barrel run video I did over a year ago. Skip up to around 2.50 right to where I start showing the barrel. Mine runs good with the prop but for yours you could just remove the prop to keep from tearing the barrel up. For my small outboards I just keep the water in it and lift them on to run plus the rain always keeps the barrel full. The tap works great for the big motor to drain the barrel to remove it. It is quite running in a barrel rather than muffs plus you can run the rpm up in a barrel without heating up the motor. Watch it on motors that kick back in reverse with a prop on in a barrel or it will eat the barrel. My merc has a tilt trim so locks it down. Without the prop you won't loose water too. I need to direct the pee on mine back in the barrel. Good idea👍 Oh happy holidays buddy
