gs1000s ...125mph tops...gs1000e with Harris fairing and ace bars ..off the speedo...back in the 1980s...used to blow the half moon camshaft end seals straight out when going too fast...happy days in Scotland

My 78 I rebuilt ground up is filthy fast I blow new bikes away alot of the times and they get super pissed off too lol...but I've done a lot of work to it videos on my KZbin channel

Do you still have this bike? I have a 79 GS1000E that I am riding and slowly fixing up mine seems to have a viberation with the rpm that I am having troubles finding yours looks buttery smooth any tips?

Wow! Your engine sounds smooth as silk. Are you running with the original 4 into 2 exhaust? I used to own a '78 GS1000 C. Man I loved that thing!

Neva rode before....when I first saw my gs1000 I was hooked. Owner couldn't fit 2 bikes with his furnishing onto trk. So he said it's for sale. I bought it, leaned on the fly how to shift and took it home. Need more videos on the 1000.
