He was fantastic but don't forget The Blockheads: musically they were incredible. Together they were a great combination.

@@areyoulocal6469 their communal album i bought was a botvhed job. chas’s viwepoint also. I bought it at the time because two albums werent enough and n france ye could not get the many singles. See. It was recorded in Nassau, Essex and only FUNKY DISCO POPS retained my attention.

Something I regret, not going to see Ian and the Blockheads back in the day. I met him years ago and he came over as a really likable guy. Norman Watt-Roy is my bass playing icon, saw him play with Wilco Johnson last week, fab.
