Hello Steven good to hear from you and it has been a while since I made a video. Yes it's a cracking bike and as is the other one I have but I have gone out and bought another vehicle that I will make a video of so it's time to let one of the motorbikes go, I can't even blame this purchase as a mid life crisis as I am well past mid life lol.

I also have a 1979 GS550E I am about to put back on the road after 20 years of storage. I have done all the paperwork and,as yours, it does not require mot nor road tax. I feel that is a major selling point for some young or old person to purchase it. The thought that all you have to do is pay for insurance and not cough up over £100 a year to our corrupt government to put on the road. Hopefully she will go to a loving home, all the best with your sale.

Hello Billie , yes it will be a good selling point with it being tax and MOT exempt and it only cost me £80 a year to insure it so really cheap to run although it only does low 30 ish to the gallon but can live with that. Thanks for your comment and good with getting yours back on the road.

Yes it is a good time to sell and I have gone out and bought another vehicle that I will make of video of at some point , so it's time to sell one of the motorbikes on. I will catch up with my brother at some point and do a catch up video of it , he spends a few nights of the week now wild camping in it.
