Your rear tire is not meant for anything off-trail. The bike is too heavy. I have had the 76/77/79 models. These bikes are great for street duty, but off road must be taken with a grain of salt.I just sold my restored 1979 model for 2000$. I miss that bike everyday. It is somewhere in switzerland in a museum. These bikes were really the best dual purpose bikes in the way the old BSA were. Just real true motorcycles. No frills but alot of class. Great torgue, A tach, frame oilers..Just love them!
