Former Polish Falcon Cadets and Bayonne Bridgemen, Pete Burnejko, the blond haired soloist at the end of Pegasus - WOW, it still blows my mind 41 years later! I marched with Pete in the '89 DCA Champion Bushwackers. The '78 Bayonne lead soprano line was so deep, Pete was not a soloist!

Too bad the hi cam such poor video and audio quality. But it is nice to see the unbroken hi angle to see the whole drill.

Which markets broadcasted the 1980 DCI Prelims? Seems like a niche broadcast picked up by local markets with enough interested viewers? Was this the first year? Also, I noticed titles on another posted example of this show but was there an announcer to help set this up?

in USA PBS local stations did show DCI but I recall clearly years announced and promoted and you would tune in and it was not on, we had DCI finals parties lots of HSchool kids disappointed back then it is all about funding of course DCI on TV got better years later but now once again it is not broadcast
