The sound of that bike brings back memories. A friend of mine bought one brand new in 1980. I believe he still has it today. His dad bought it for him and the father died like 2 months later. He said the bike has alot of sentimental value. I believe him.

My first bike was an Elsinore. My dad bought my brother an Elsinore and one for me. Mine was a ‘76 Honda MR50 and my brother got the MT125 , the street legal version. Honda has always been my first choice since then.

I wish I knew about this guys shop before I took my 2004 Yamaha YZF 250 to a bike shop up here in Maine Washington county and I got charged $500 for them to time the engine and for them to not put coolant in the engine before they started it brand new jugcylinder brand new head brand new valves and timing chain brand new Cam and they cracked the cylinder because they did not put antifreeze in the engine before they started it and then they charge me $500 and wouldn’t give me my bike back until I paid the 500$ and I bought all the parts did all the work myself put it together and then I simply took it to the shop so they can time the engine for me. That was all they had to do is timing.
