For sale is a ONE OF A KIND 1980 Mercedes 450SEL with 36,XXX MILES. This is a ONE OWNER vehicle that was originally purchased at Jim Slemons Impost In Newport Beach, CA. It was taken to San Francisco where it resided ever since. The original owner was driving this vehicle up until his 90s. He passed away over five years ago leaving this Mercedes with his daughter who was very attached to it. She did not want it to sit for long so she decided to finally sell it. There are so many very special things about this vehicle. It is finished in an extremely rare factory green paired with palmetto leather interior. I challenge anyone to find another on the market in this color. To the best of our knowledge the paint is all original. Exterior is in excellent condition. Paint is deep and glossy. It has never sat a day outside, although it was in a very tight garage, so please watch the video very closely as there are a few minor dings on the doors. The interior of this vehicle is virtually flawless and in great condition as you could imagine. Everything is in proper working order except for the A/C does not blow cold. It has probably never been charged. Mechanically It runs and drives great. The ride is smooth and comfortable. The motor is very healthy, sounds great and has plenty of power. Transmission shifts smoothly through all gears. Clean CA title. Tool kit, spare tire and all the manuals are all available. There are no unusual drivetrain or suspension noises. All suspension and steering components are in proper working order. All related powertrain components are all in excellent working order.

Not a fan of the color, but a beautiful car nonethe less. My parents had one in Silver with blue leather interior with rear headrests, it was a 1977. They drove it until 1991 when they bought the 560SEL.

Sadly soon all combustion cars and trucks including classics will be banned from public streets in entire EU and Scandinavia :-( In Germany the Green Peoples Party gave order to shorten fuel supply from 2025 on by reducing all conventional fuel stations to only one state operated central gas station per city or county. Car washs will be forbidden too because they are climate killers, now they want to slow down all the gas station pumps from 20 litre per minute to 2 litre per minute...From 2027 on in the EU certain car spare parts will be banned too....as exhaust systems, turbo chargers and even some engine and gearbox oils...California and New York will do the same from 2027 on.... So no investments should be done in oil burning cars any longer....They even created a new kind of crime here, called emissions and smoke crime.!!! (BABVVEN & TEBBVEN & BEFVO laws)!!!
