These uniforms from 1976-81 were the best White Sox uniforms, in my opinion, they were so unique and even though people had their critiques on them nobody can deny how unique they were. I prefer these white jerseys paired with the blue pants but this was still a solid look and the road look with the blue tops and white pants was awesome too.

?? Look at the uniform 76-79 and than the one 80 & 81. The Bill Veeck design was an embarrassment. Day after day , game after game . But the new ownership improved on it .

@@mariocisneros911 i disagree. unique uniforms with Veeck. Complete shit with reinsdork

That blue top white pants was an improvement, but Reinsdorf did that in 1981..Veeck's softball uni was laughed and ridiculed by opponents

@@MrZinjanthropus our bears and Cubs weren't so hot too . The bears 1 in 60 years. But I agree about the now old and senile Reinsdorf

I love seeing this. I've been a White Sox fan since 1956. These uniforms were different not as bad as wearing the short pants.
@michaelleroy92812 ай бұрын
No need to make a big deal about the short pants, they were ONLY worn for TWO games in 1976

At about the 1:12:00 mark - the first home run blast by the Sox by Bernazard wows the Comiskey crowd - the scoreboard lighted up - and "BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!" CAME THE FIREWORKS!!!

A fun, sloppy game, on sloppy videotape, with sloppily eloquent Harry Carey (and sharp-toned Jimmy Piersall), in Comiskey Park looking ever-lovely in its late-years' shabbiness. The only bad things are: those awful Sox uniforms, that Comiskey Park was abandoned and torn down for no good reason, and that Harry and Jimmy are dead--though Harry is having Albert Einstein on his show next week. Also, Earl Weaver didn't go full-volcanic this particular game. How lil' Earl never actually exploded on the field is a testimony to the power of being infuriatingly short, or Marlboros.

Obviously you do not want the game flagged by KZbin for copyright, so...... 1. You cut away from the video when you hear the "Hallelujah Chorus" after Bernazard's blast by the Sox - fearing that this track could be a professional track that was commercially made and not done by the organist Nancy Faust....and... 2. And you avoided the commercials - most commercials - because most have prerecorded music that may be copyrighted by the commercials themselves that, if heard by the KZbin juggernauts, could be grounds for the video being flagged also too.
