1981 Corvette Power Window Motor replacement

unless i missed it, you didn't really explain how to get the motor out, and what exactly is holding it in the door panel. And why not just take the entire panel out to make it easier to get the motor? i have to get into this on my '81, so that is why i am asking.

There is 1 rivet holding the motor to the door and the motor is connected to cranking part of the window mechanism inside the door. There were no more panels for me to take off. This is probably one of the easier things to replace on this car. Good luck
