CURT WARNER is my ALL TIME fav PSU football athlete. His highlights were THE highlight of the win. Who would had thought then the opponents would join the B1G? I'm still saddened that an northeastern based collegiate conference, starting with just football, was never incorporated. SY BC TE PI PS WV CN would had charter members...I gotta got a grip.

Shlick Smit Back then they had tear away jersey so defense did not grab jersey to tackle. Also these were warm weather jerseys half cut and with larger mesh for better ventilation.

Dang Penn State’s offensive line manhandled Nebraska’s front line. You hardly ever saw Nebraska get pushed around like that back then.

@@kurtgreaser8439 back in the day offensive lineman knew there assignments coming out of the huddle. Not as much confusion and last minute thinking and adjustments. Just fire off the ball and use technique.
