Part 1 of the Carb rebuild for the 1982 CB900F. In this video I disassemble and Clean the carbs.
In Part 2 I'll rebuild them with new parts and hardware.
Note that this is a very detailed video, It may not be for everyone especially those with a short attention span and lack of appetite for detail.

For Those Viewing: An impact screwdriver is critical in removing many of those screws. And you can get a nice replacement set of almost all the outer screws on those carbs.

900f was a really nice motorcycle. The rubber mounted engine was a treat.

I started with the mixture screws 2 turn out but the bike did not run good so turned them out 2.5-2.75 and it runs desant but i need to synk them aswell. It is not running 100% i belive the mixture screws is set at factory and is not always the same for every carb. I wish I culd some how measure the mixture to know it is right. I did the trick to set as low idle as possible and adjusted them but ended up changing it later because the bike did not rev out .But a good starting point to have the same settings. The throttle shaft seals can deteriorate leading to lean condition so might b worth doing

I did not see you remove the Idle Slow Jet, from under the rubber plug. The only way to clear the tiny opening is to remove/extract the jet and use a single bristle from a wire brush, to free up the jet hole. it is tiny. This is why I believe, the bike does not idle well or it sounds like it's "Missing".
