What a beauty! A few month back I got myself the same. During the past weeks I noticed the rattling engine sound for the first time - is it normal? I was checking for the chain tensioner and next step would be the valve clearance. But if you tell me it's normal I won't touch anything :-D

I would check cam chain tension, valves as well as a compression test for piston wear. Engine bearings if noise persists. Good luck!

What do think is a fair price for that bike? I’ve been looking EVERYWHERE wishing a 300 mile radius for one and there’s not one to be had!

Hi Mark What's the trye on the rear, the one on my xr 83 model has been eating the chain gaurd 4.60 -18 in old money I tried a 110/ 100/ 18 but still going to be to wide so 100/100 -18 next on list . The Maxxis M7305 it 110 100 18 was also going to be to wide any advice.
