MERRY late CHRISTMAS!!! On this episode of Golden Rust or Bust I attempt to resurrect a 1984 ATC 200s from the grave before Christmas. Me and my dad are fixing up our ATC and we just got done with mine we put new bearings and seals all around and we had to swap a engine because mine is a 1984 200s but the engine are the butterfly screw and destroyed the piston so we put a 185 engine in it and we did the brakes as well . The only thing left is the rear plastic and a headlight. Then we have to do new bearings and seals on my dad's big red and we will be set . I'm from Wisconsin

Nice 3 wheeler. I have an 84 200s as well. You should be running motorcycle oil in it though, or your clutch may start to slip. The manual calls for 10w-40 👍

On an old shitbox like this it's not a big deal to run it for a bit on automotive oil, but on any bike or quad with a wet clutch you'll want to run motorcycle oil. Motorcycle oil has friction modifiers that help with clutch engagement shifting that car oil doesn't.

That Honda 200 1 cylinder motor great machine also bolt up all seat plus back peice plastic up also check tire air pressure and fuel filter also replaced air filter too with metal cannister type ! Hope headlights and brake light works if not replaced bulbs in too! I remember those 3 wheeler back years and want one for Christmas or Birthday gifts bet never happened! Also for Engine Oil use 10w30 No synthetic type of Vavloiline or Castrol GTX white bottle also 89 with 5% Ethonal or 91 octane no Ethonal plus grey bottle STP Total Treatment fuel injection and carb cleaner in fuel tank too each time filled up and bottle of Gasoline Antifreeze to help keep fuel fresh and clean up to 6 months even year too! Change Oil every 3 months to plus gear box also check electrical to and brakes plus clutch also axle fluid even lube chain with clean oil too!

So I have a 1987 Big Red that runs and drives it'll run for 10 minutes and then it'll just die you can wait 30 minutes to an hour and go back out and start it up and It does the same thing all over again I know something's getting hot and it has to cool off is what it seems like what are your thoughts on it I'd really like to get it running so I can put it on my KZbin channel

Well you could have a rich mixture in gas’s and you are fowling the plug . Otherwise what could be happening is the coil could be cracked and it runs fine when cold but then when it warms up you lose spark
