Thought just yesterday about offsetting my license plate for trailer plug on my 01 ranger or use a license plate light hole. Lol

This originally has a pintle hitch where the license plate is mounted. I removed the pintle when I added the receiver hitch. The original military plug was in the same location where I added the seven blade. Easiest way to cover the old pintle hole was to put the plate over it haha

Do you know about how many of these diesels were produced? I know of one guy having one years ago. It had a ton of miles on it but never gave him problems. That was the only one I've seen until this one.

Lots , and lots . The 6.2 ran from 1982 until 1993. GM put them in vans , pick ups , Hummers , and in marine applications.

@@chevahaulic oh ok that guys truck would of been in the 70s more then likely. I'm aware of the 6.2 long history what was before that?

@@Jason1Pa the 5.7 diesel was GMs first light duty diesel. I think it was from 77 to 81. Had a lot of problems, very few of those around anymore
