1984 Kawasaki KDX200 - Cleaning and discovery. How To Fix No Spark On A Dirt Bike

looking forward to seeing the next video on this bike, I recently got a free KDX200 1983 which has been sitting for 10 years and it's pretty much the same as yours, but mine doesn't fully turn over tho. The frame is pretty much perfect, but I'm not sure if the spark works on it because I can't turn the engine over. I've currently removed the engine off of the frame, but I was hoping to see how you get the flywheel off because mine is rusted and I've been struggling with it (i don't have a puller by the way). thank you for the great content.

As for the flywheel, I recommend going to your local auto parts or you can use this link for Amazon: amzn.to/36B1cSJ or amzn.to/2ICcrSE And if you don't have a case splitter and crank puller, here is a link for what I have that worked well: amzn.to/36Hm62A With those you will need to use 6mm bolts or threaded rod that will screw into the flywheel (these come with the case splitter I used, not the harmonic balancer remover). Also, you will need to get a bolt that is a little longer than the original at the center of the flywheel to push against but allow the flywheel to come off. I just used a bolt from a RMATV bolt kit that was about 1/2" longer than the origonal and I did NOT use the pointed end that attaches to the puller bolt, just use the blunt end or you will bend the center bolt. I will do my best to do a good video demo of how to remove it ASAP. Thanks again and I hope you get to ride your KDX soon.

Only needs air fuel and spark. Being a 2stroke try a new correct spark plug.
