@@watchareTVJaret did help to write this, he didn’t like some of the lyrics in the SR-71 version so he got with Mitch and changed the end of the second verse and the second pre chorus and I think he changed the melody and some of the instrument parts but I’m not sure

Not my favorite song by them, and won't really say they're my favorite band (but I do like their music)... But no matter what you think, there's no denying that these guys can write a killer pop song. It's funny that even stripped down like this (without all the shiny studio production), you still get an extremely well-crafted, catchy pop punk song. Being complicated takes talent but writing a song like this where everything just fits perfectly, well, that's talent too. And they played it live. Cool stuff.

I'm looking for footage around this time in the San Diego area, where i was a seat filler and they gave away subway sandwiches. I threw mine at the guitar player, the heavier one during the recorded version of their hit song and the sandwich got stuck in between the strings and pickups. It ruined the shot, but they had to continue playing. So they had to air the first recorded song they played. They were so bummed. People in the audience were crying they laughed so hard.
