This build has been a tough one with bad luck in the mix. That fire is a real bummer, I lit two cars on fire welding on them over the years, luckily I noticed one right away and the other one my neighbor just happened to stop by and yelled fire. Got that one out as well before things got bad. That generation of Camaros go for cheap here up north and most are rusted out bad. Good ones if you can find them also go fairly cheap. You are so correct, they are just not worth dumping a ton of money in. If you can keep the budget low on it, you still might make a couple bucks. If anybody can pull it off you can. You are amazing at budget builds.

Just use the 3 seat covers you have. At least 3 of the seats will look good, Maybe you can find something for a single seat. Which cover are you missing? I am pretty sure they sell driver side covers by themself. I'll check and get back to you

I can appriciate the budget build but if you have an original I-ROC in decent condition non restored they fetch a fair price only having 3k or so you could stand to fatten the purse a bit👍

There's one 1988 Chevrolet Camaro at Maple Motors for $12,900 now, and it's a standard one, not an IROC-Z. Nice shape, but not perfect. An IROC-Z should be worth 16-20.000$ Non considering your precious labor, maybe at least 6-7000$ could be spent on your restoration?

These cars are fun but restoring them is killer expensive....I'm redoing my old '85 Vette ... carpet is $600...dash pad is $600!!! need all new plastic dash panels as they're all cracked again after replacing years ago $100 each on average..the build quality was shit 😢 and plastic ain't cheap and parts that aren't made anymore used sellers on eBay rape you for those 😢
