I know Jim Putney. He did the machine work on my 22re engine I built. Still runs strong. He's the best machinist on the west coast. His shop is in Chico Ca.

@Garbo Off-Road I've known Jim as far back as when he was a machinist at Rising Sun Engines in Chico. I worked at a shop across the street, and we did engine installs for them. That was the late 90s early 2000s.

For 23 years now I have driven my 1988 Toyota single cab long bed 22RE 2 Wheel Dr. 3 speed with overdrive automatic it is sweet to drive 23 years now and she’s ready to go I’m not asleep just driving around town where I have made long trips with it in the past 53 years old when I bought it 74 years old now. Paid $4000 for it
