You are the only video that explained about true top dead centre and overlap and I looked for days. Your video gave me the knowledge to properly adjust my valves (2004 XR400R). Thanks.

Great job my friend! Unlike most videos where you can't see what the person's doing, the lighting in your video made that possible. Thanks.

Thanks for the video. I'm trying to get a 1981 xl185s up and running, and the Haynes manual doesn't give a great description of this process. This video really shows what to do.

I watched your video, and yep, it's noisy! lol Try adjusting the valves, if it is still noisy, you probably have either a worn out cam chain, or wear on the cam and rocker/sub rocker arms.

Yep, looks like new cam and rockers are in your future man. It would also be a good idea to flush out the crankcase, oil tank, and check the primary strainer screen when you replace your valvetrain parts. Don't want any debris from those worn parts scratching up the new ones. Let me know how your project turns out.

Really liked your video and learned something new about rockin the valves to see if it’s on top dead center. Just goes to show you you can learn something new even at 75 years old. I have one question though I have adjusted the valves And now the bike is hard starting any ideas would be appreciated thank you.

Good video with good close up! I would only suggest that you crank the engine counterclockwise to not loosen up the flywheel bolt. The way you re-tighten the lock nut is just how I do it. Do you know if the '85 XL350R also has a 'T' mark? I can't seem to see one. Take care
