I’m getting low oil pressure even though I’m forcing the shuttle valve all the way down to the bottom of the seat with a piece of stock and the existing hex screw. What could be causing the low pressure?

Do you not use dielectric and blue loctite? Or clean and flow test the injectors? I do believe like you on working on a clean motor, enjoyed the series

Should always press on the outside race of the bearing not the inside.

Yeah, I'm down getting the shaft out of the final drive, there might or might not be a piece of that oring wedged in-between the shaft and the bearing. I was really hoping not to have to drop the final drive, but this whole rear end, looks like it ain't never been pulled apart, so probly should do it anyway.

I have a 250 Recon, the whole rear end is seized up hard. Would that be the brake drums beyond wear limit? Rear bearings were replaced 5 years ago. its a 2001 model. Thanks for your Response.

Hi Ray, your videos were very helpful. I totally disassembled carbs and cleaned them. Put them all back together. Everything‘s great except the plastic t that runs from the main fuel line on the left side is leaking on the back left carburetor. How do I get the carburetors off the rack to replace the rings. They seem to be part of the casting the Center, in the back carburetors

Just replaced fuel pump assy in 15 ranger 570 efi crew. The old one was completely broken when we pulled it out. The issue now, is like it is not getting full power. It barely wants to move and then will start sputtering and cut off. Any suggestions on what this could be??? Please help!!

I had the same issue as far as the no pressure problem, but the cause was not the check valve. MY problem was using LUCAS Heavy Duty Oil Stabilizer !!! Over a period of 20 years of using it at every oil change like clock work EVERY 5K miles it caused the internal side of my 6.0 gas engine (and who knows how much else) to develop a mechanics WORST ENEMY....SLUDGE !!!!!! I had sludge deposits all over the inside of the timing cover !!! and NO doubt it plugged my pick up screen because my pump was DRY, DRY, DRY !!!!!. so I will have to do the same thing as far as the flange reversal because I'm NOT going to take my whole front drive train apart to get the pan off ! I've been turning wrenches as long if not longer the Mr. D-Ray and if I can take it apart hanging up side down for a few minutes I can put it back together hanging up side down in a few minutes once I reverse the flange ( and use a shop vac to suck up the particles when cutting) and NEVER EVER EVER use LUCAS oil additives again !!!! It is a good assembly lube but NOT a good "use at every oil change additive". OUTSTANDING VIDEO Mr. D-Ray you stole my thunder in the best way possible, I was going to do a video (and may still after I give LUCAS techs an ear full !!!.) on the same flange issue. Engineers who sit behind a desk SHOULD talk to mechanics and get their input because I'll tell what, I sure would like to kick a few of them between the legs !! If I save my engine it WILL NOT be due to using LUCAS but it will be saved by using PRO-LONG !! I'v seen it in action and use it in my 1983 chevy 350 with out the Lucas and the engine is CLEAN, CLEAN, CLEAN !!!! sorry if the truth hurts Lucas....

How the hell is your truck so clean? Even underneath the bed, that's crazy. I'm way more impressed with the cleanliness of your truck than the actual repair.and trust me that's a compliment.lol

My work load in the shop had been preventing me to do videos, so I am limiting the amount of work I schedule in each week to allow me some much needed time off, and enough time to produce new videos. some of the vids I posted recently were actually older vids that were on my original channel, I just decided to bring all of my DIY vids to this channel. Thanks for watchin'!

What a nice truck with such low miles. Just before trucks got crazy expensive, that 6.0 is a good reliable power plant.
