1987 Ford C8000 Fire Engine/Pumper Federal "Q" Siren

This short clip is to the show the functional Federal Q Siren on my 1987 Ford C Series (C8000) fire engine/pumper. The truck came from the Louisville, OH fire department and has 23k original miles. It has a CAT3208 turbodiesel and an automatic transmission.

Most had the toggle switch like this to control the horn/q from the steering wheel

are those the original rocker switches or are they replaced? i've been looking for older style ones that don't look new but can't find any

Honestly, no idea. But they seem period correct knowing I have had them in some other late 80s and early 90s apparatus

That light comes on if, say, a door is ajar
