yes and also that moment at the very end of the clip, when the interview of those 3 has ended and in looking up at the video replay screen in the stadium, Evenly pointing and saying to the other two "see where the stick is!", followed by Sheila and Alice's reaction's nearly simultaneous, with Alice saying "oh shit" (same thing that appears Evelyn to say while replaying in super slow motion the baton exchange from Flo Jo to Evelyn) as Sheila is saying an "oh, heavans.", as they look up and see Evelyn literally is barely holding onto that stick with what looks to be two fingers and maybe a bit on her palm at the very end of the part of that baton where Flo Jo placed into Evelyn's hands. I still to this day can't believe how incredibly hard that must have been to maintain composure as she just tears down that track!

Brotha, I’m trying to understand where you’re coming from. I assume you mean black people are loved and adored when representing this country abroad. What’s the story when they return home? I know Flo Jo, Jackee Joyner Kersee, Serena Williams, Carl Lewis, Simone Biles, Gabby Douglas, Marion Jones, Allyson Felix, Michael Johnson (to name a few) all got endorsements, became household names, and got love from the vast majority of the country when they came back as Olympic champs. As a black man, I’m trying to figure out where this victim mentality is coming from. It’s true that the trump supporting portion of the country is racist and that there is still work to be done, but a significant portion of this country is with us fighting to make that happen. It’s always a shame when I see black people allow racists to make them feel victimized in this country. We just had a black president, black representatives in Congress, and now a black VP. This is our country too. Let NO ONE make you feel otherwise.
