1988 Sunline Camper Heater Repair Atwood Hydroflame 8520

The ignitor in furnace started failing, a short video showing the process on how to replace it. The old style is no longer available/built by the manufacturer. I obtained the newer style on Amazon and adapted it to fit which hopefully won't be discontinued for awhile.
The old style ignitor kit was part number 33625
The newer style one off of Amazon is 36998 and it's also really cheap.
The new style burner is part number 36043 which is made by Atwood which is also available on Amazon. The only difference I could find is that the fuel shield is lower on the new style than the old style. It is the same bolt pattern and same physical dimensions. Use at your own risk.

If you look for the sticker on your existing motor it should have a part number. Google that number and see what comes up.
