Man... that car was some beautiful piece of work in the first half but you switched it up with a big block and made it off the hook. What a transformation. WOW LOVE IT !!!🤩

Don't know if you've done it yet or knew the performance benefits but get yourself a set of front swaybar endlink tabs and weld them onto the front struts. Much better "lever" action from the front sway. You can buy a cnc'd set from Akg motorsport or simply hack some off some junk struts. Then attach a set of spherical adjustable endlinks. You can buy off the shelf from a bunch of vendors, or do what I did and make your own from threaded shift rods that Coleman racing sells, and the spherical rod ends can be purchased from Pegasus racing. This allows you to adjust your preload on the swaybar and you won't be destroying stock ones like I did during track days. I see you did the subframe reinforcement plates, so good job there. The beauty of the m60 for example is the ability to drop in pretty much any injectors you want and not have to do any tuning. Gains can also be had with a larger MAF. There isn't alot of aftermarket performance stuff for the m60, that's cost effective at least. Best mods that wake them up are a LTW flywheel, injectors, software, legit exhaust, MAF, cams, and an e32 750 3.15 limited slip diff. After that the big money really comes from forced induction if you can find someone selling they're old s/c kit, or fab your own. You could also see some performance gains by ditching the resonator and installing a nice X-pipe. The X-pipe gives you increased "scavenging" effects. I think you'll find that the stock manifolds on the m60 were fairly well designed and you wont gain much power from those type of headers on this engine. If they were installed for the swap because of the lack of space aspect then that's one thing. Those OEM Bremi coilpacks are some of the worst BMW ever used and you'll want the Bosch, Beru, or Bav Auto coils instead, sooner than later. You should also consider an e60 545i shift lever. The e60 545i has an OEM 'short throw' version that can be bought wherever OEM BMW parts are sold. I believe the last 3 digits of the part # are "373," going off my memory. It's a direct drop in and a huge difference in feel. Its not like the z3 levers that are so short they hit the driveshaft. While your at it, buy or fabricate a weighted double shear selector rod, and replace the plastic bearing that the lever 'rides in,' as well as the support bushing at the rear or the shifter assembly and the rubber one with the 'bitch clip' that goes to the top of the tranny. A stainless clutch line and adjustable clutch stop is also a must do couple of mods. Only other thing I didn't understand about your build was the charcoal canister. For god sakes throw that fucking thing in the trash. They arent needed and I doubt it's doing much of anything anymore since its from 1995 or earlier. Totally unnecessary. Only other things mentioned that should be changed are those headlights, for a set of hella euro smilies. You did however redeem yourself by installing the mtech bumpers over that e36 m3 look alike front thing and the reiger/ seidel looking rear one. The vaders look good in there albeit how much they weigh. Even the manual vaders are a heavy ass seat. Good build thread overall. Entering to see those drum brakes finally go bye bye.

I also forgot to mention at least a set of urethane engine mounts. Revshift makes a set that I used on my m60. Those stock hydraulic motor mounts are garbage and you'll find the side with the steering shaft tearing apart before the passenger side because of the inherent "twisting" from the torque of these engines. I'm guessing between the lack of clearance, weight of the engine, and softness of the mounts that's probably what happened to your drivers side header runner part way through your video. Ditch those hydro mounts and go poly. Throw in some poly tranny mounts with enforcer cups at the same time. They're very affordable from a tuner like UUC, I'd recommend the harder durometer ones. They used to be red for the 80A hardness ones IIRC. The pair of motor mounts from revshift is cheap and you won't notice any NVH from them or the transmission mounts. I know I never did and I owend two e34 540/6 with those mounts. When I bought my first 540/6 which was a '94 build, both mounts were ripped in half and the bottom of the manifolds were resting on the subframe!!! True story man. Take it from someone who's been building and modding these cars for around 25 years. I have pretty much "been there and done that" with these cars, and any tips or questions to help someone out and take the guesswork out of it and I'm happy to offer my experience.

The stealership sells the fenders, rear quarters, skirts, bumpers, and wing but its probably better and definitely cheaper to source some aftermarket ones and either use dzus fasteners, nutserts, or mould them onto your stock ones. Its really your choice and what you're looking to do with the car. If you track it then make them removable for obvious reasons. If you just show or "hard-park" your car then go all out and mould the fenders.

Nice! Shame about the obvious mistake!? Drum rear brakes!? WTF!?? Pretty sure the M3 evo didn't have a sunroof or those moody looking bumpers!? And it would have electric windows?

why not m60 b30 his piston stroke is simply amazing it can be untwisted up to 10,000 rpm 400 + hp and 320 + n.m can be removed from it. and the sound of formula 1.

Une e30 avec un V8 n'a jamais existé d'usine. C'est un swap venant d'une 540(e39)/740(e38)/840(j'ai oublié). La plus grosse e30 est avec un 6 2.5 litres. Et la break avait une option 4 roues motrices.
