It originally came out in 84. It was really ahead of it's time. Although a lot of cars had digital dashes available at this time the C4 certainly had the best looking one.

Dude with that LT1 you should get a lt4 hot cam head package and that car will be a beast as long as you get the proper tune.

My C4 never sounded like that ! After having to replace my intake gaskets I limited my hard driving to short bursts and nothing like that that,s why I went back to a c3 and can dump the clutch and bang through the gears as fast as I can floor it to 6000 RPM !

@@robertgarrison1738 I raced a oldsmobile with a stroked 350 chevy and if it wasn't for my out of the hole launch and 3.73 gears i would not have won 11.7 and 12.1 for the olds my Richmond five speed has a really low first gear that will pull both front tires off the ground !

@@ianwardshaw4945 ok here we go. You need headers. And cold air intake mine was homemade. You need to cut the screens and the fins out of the mass air flow intake sensor. Huge improvement to! A tpis throttle body insert to straighten out the air. A full cat back system I remove the cats all of them and got it tuned to bypass the O2 sensor removals. Underdrive pulleys.a tpis big mouth ported intake And new fuel pressure regulator I can't remember what the PSI was for it now. Also mine was an automatic it ran 13.90s with stock gearing. It had high ass gears! I had a friend with lower gears same mods who could hang with a 95 ZR-1 of the day and that was impressive for back then! Now you can add a cam and head package which is very easy to come by these days. Also at a 700R4 shift kit. After you do all of that find someone who can write you a custom e prom tune! And find someone who knows what they're doing!

When my son was about 11 years old he entered a Jaycee Relay Race. He’d never ran track before and didn’t know everybody wore shorts. He came in jeans, to everyone’s amusement. He ran the last leg for his team - and came away the fastest runner of the day, and made up considerable distance to win. This video made me think of that day. How I wish I had been able to see it, instead of only hear and read about it. I was a single mom and had to work. My son was an amazing athlete. ❤️

Amazing...! I have a 95 c4 and it makes a popping sound at 50 when the motor is in full Throttle so I changed the original Fuel Filter and the Electric Fuel Pump and it still does it.... Any ideas?

All C4s 84-89 had digital cluster. There were a few analog clusters made aftermarket wise though. Maybe somebody swapped it.
