Since the frame has been shortened, and a transfer case doubler set up is in the truck does this truck still have the driveshaft carrier bearing that long wheel base square bodies come with? When you switched tanks the truck did not die for a second. My square body crew cab engine will die for a second or two, then come back to life, if I switch tanks on the fly.

So it is common for them to die off when you switch the tanks for one of two reasons sometimes the valve does not switch fast enough or the pump pressure is not usually very high. This now has a very high pressure pump system to match with the motors needs, that may make a difference possibly, but you are correct. It does not die down at all. Also, for your question, it does still have the two piece system, but it could be made to one piece at its current length

Suburbans are very overlooked item. They don’t hold near the value that the trucks do but they do have a very good following.
