Dodge liked welding ball joints to the upper and lower control arms in the 70’s. My 1979 D100 has welded parts. To remove requires grinder surgery, and a c-clamp with a big socket to push out. Not as difficult to do as you might expect. That wall behind you could be a good spot for a whiteboard for a list of the parts you’ll be highlighting. You’ve inspired me this morning! Good job.

Welding is overkill between old rusted suspension those ball joints were not going to come loose lol I got a whiteboard with a To Do List for each car and the list is never ending cause there’s always something to do with project cars

My upper ball joints are threaded , you can see the square shoulders on the joint for a wrench to thread in

I know this is a slightly older video, but I’ve got a 89 Ramcharger RWD. I’m not having any luck finding anything online really. I use Rockauto as well for most if my parts. But with the inner tie rod ends, are they the exact same on both sides? I’m getting different part numbers all the way around for outer left and right, but it looks like the same part number for both side inners. I’ve never gone this far into suspension work so Sorry if that’s a stupid question lol

For the inner they are different for “Left” and “Right” for moog brand part # is moog-es2120r for right and moog-es2120L for left
