1989 Ford Mustang GT 5.0 Convertible Start Up, Exhaust, and In Depth Tour

In this video I give a full in depth tour of a 1989 Ford Muatang GT 5.0. I take viewers on a close look through the interior and exterior of this car while showing details, over viewing of features, and noting unique styling cues to the vehicle itself. I also show the engine and the details of it, start it up and see how it sounds under acceleration. A thorough tour/review of this car designed to give others a greater overall appreciation of the vehicle.

I remember when my dad had a 1988 Ford Mustang with a 5.0 L V8 and it made 225 HP. What amazes me is how a 2011 Ford Mustang with a V6 makes 300 HP and still gets 29/30 mpg on the highway! =D

honestly, they have become one the most desireable body styles to own in the mustang world, light, easy to work on, and easy to make much much faster., personally i find them bad ass/ Honestly if i were to pick a low point in modern mustangs, id say the SN95, and this is coming from someone who used to own one/

When I turned 16 in 1988 My Parents bought me a brand new 1989 Mustang GT convertible white w/red interior. Oh man I loved that car. To this day I still have a huge soft spot in my heart for them. A lot of very good times were had in that GT.

This has to be a 89 1/2 , as it has the 140mph speedo. Before that speedos went to 85. We did a lot of guessing as to how fast we were going back then.

I've never been into old cars (80-95) that much because I didn't think they were as good quality-wise as they are today and they weren't that great in the aesthetics department either (I was born in 90, so that might explain it) but after watching this video I was amazed at how beautiful this Mustang really is!

I enjoy your videos, but I was wondering could you tell if a car has been damaged (accident) or flood damaged and brought in to tell at auction from another state? I rode in one of those years ago. The back or rear end gets loose on rain slicked streets because it has no traction.

I know gas might be an issue and for most people Fords are always Found On the Road Dead, or Fixed Or Repaired Daily, but this is one style of 'Stang I would DIE to have! If I could find a stock one around my part of town for about $3500 or less, I'd be set, but there's such a fat chance of that happening bc everyone mods these things out like crazy!

my dad had an orange 83 mustang and a blue 87 mustang...... the 87s brakes cought on fire and i have no clue what happend to the 83. i miss the 87

kyle its too late now but i'm glad the car didn't blow up on you, see in 1989 ford made to thin of wires for the fog lights at the bottom so when people turned them on and left them on driving they would overheat spark and catch on fire burning the whole car, which ford relized about it creating a recall for it. You guys don't believe me go look it up its there i have a 88gt so i know and i never use mine.
