I'm thinking of doing similar to my 4x4 truck. I have a 91 f150 and with my winch bumper on it the front sags pretty hard. How has the truck been for you since you did this? Thanks

, no issue, hill roads or on the highway, it seemed to drive the same.

I've got a 1990 f150 with a winch bumper and it sags the front down pretty good too. I'm thinking of going with 3" spacers in the front instead of 2" leveling kit since the camber's actually a little negative to start out with due to the sagging. I'm assuming the first inch of lift will just lift it back up to where it should be in the first place and then two inches of lift after that. My 3 1/2" camber bushings arrived yesterday so I'm gonna attempt to lift it this weekend 🍻

I assume you could use a 3 ft level..but honestly if you want it dialed it, an alignment shop has the right tools

What about the Radius Arm Drop?
@rodolfogarza8947 Жыл бұрын
I didn't do that, but I think that would be a good option. and necessary if going over 2 inch lift.

What was the rear height? Is the front higher now, or close to level?
@rodolfogarza8947 Жыл бұрын
i don't remember exactly, but its was around 34, so close to level

Never raise the front! ALWAYS lower the rear.. .
@rodolfogarza8947 Жыл бұрын
Never heard that before. Any particular reasoning for that?
@bobadingo Жыл бұрын
There are many reasons and explanations - if you're not concerned about fuel efficiency and vehicle handling and performance along with other factors involved such as suspension geometry issues the introduction of accelerated wear on steering and suspension components along with a few other factors? Then raise the front suspension! People buy into stupidity regardless of what it entails as long as it looks cool then they're okay with it.. . I will not go into detail about suspension designs here in the KZbin comment section cuz talking logic to illogical individuals is nothing more than a waste of my time.. .

A leveling kit is going to have nearly ZERO effect, what your talking about is when you lift it 4 inches or more. If you don't tow anything there's no need for the ass end to be up in the air which is the only purpose that trucks come lifted higher in the rear is to accommodate and sit level when carrying a load.

On these trucks a leveling kit doesn't change it much. It's when you get to 3+ inches you have to do a lot more work to get it done right. What i did tho is i put airbags on the back. Next i wanna do some comfier shocks but for the height it's already at
