Last engine I ever put together was a 12 valve cummins. No new parts but two of same kind, swapped pieces and parts, three days later, auto engine in a case 450 dozer! Everything is different for exhaust, fuel pump is different because of different drive system.... even those injectors are different, smaller for less power, saving the rest of the drivetrain is what my brother told me.

I love your videos. Don't forget with more boost you need more fuel. Turning up the pump gives a longer injection dwell, eh if standard settings inject for 20 degrees of rotation turning it up lengthens that. Beyond 30% and you just get smoke and heat , no more power so at some point you need bigger pump element/s. Bigger single element for the Bosch VE, And 6 for the P pump. VE pump is cheaper. You should bypass the governor!- just use a rod between throttle linkage and spill off . A friend had one on a 1600cv rev to 7500rpm but pump seized.

ive loved doing burnouts since i was a child. pretty much every ive owned has done at least 1 burnout. my chevelle is my favorite burnout machine but the funniest burnout ive ever done was about 22 years ago at a factory i worked at we had really long steep ramp. my job required to restock our pallets at the end of the shift to prep for the next crew. it had just poured down rain. and i went to get a stack of pallets. i noticed i basically slid down that ramp and on the way up the forklift started to spin! oh no not a free chance to roast the tires! i let that dog eat all the way up the ramp!! them damn forklift tires stunk like hell! had steam rolling off the tires when i got back in the building. it was hilarious and im cracking up typing this!
