1990 Freefall (Paratrooper) G.I. Joe review

It's Joe's like this that I love about the GI Joe line. Nothing flashy, nothing over the top, futuristic. Just a basic soldier look. These are the best of the best in my opinion. Recondo, Ripcord, Flint, Falcon, Hit n Run, etc. any of the original Joes, Freefall embodies them all. top tier figure in my book. Great review, Thanks Kevin!

Well least you can always maximize G.I Joe reviews by being subscribed to several G.I Joe reviewers. Besides of Kevin there are does like HoodedCobraCommader788, HalftheBattleTimmer and GI Joburg. Why not give them chance if you haven't already.

One of my faves! And I love that he fits in nicely with the earlier figures. None of this 90's extreme flourescent stuff.

That “parachute pin” is actually the ripcord. Who imo is still the Joe’s best para jumper.

Probably. I only compare vintage figs with other vintage figs.

The rifle almost looks like a modified BAR with a shotgun attachment. It could also pass as an M1A. Great review, looking forward to more, I just picked up a 1993 V2 Alley Viper. I hope it stops there haha! Stop animation made me laugh out loud.

if I remember, ripcord toted a standard 7.62mm fn-fal rifle. these weapons were common with NATO & latin america military units of the era.

The figure is decent but he is pretty plain. I'm not a fan of the accessories at all though. The gun just isn't intimidating enough and the air mask seems more like an afterthought. It just doesn't go with that helmet very well. I still prefer Ripcord.
