Zoomer30 thats what it was they wanted footage of the cars starting in daytona. they started 2 cars in the 500 as well but could only run 100 miles.

Everybody knew the car was there to get movie footage. It was no secret to anybody at the time. The cars they used to get into the races were built by Hendrick Motorsports. The 18!hardees and 51 Exxon car were in the 1990 Daytona 500 too Bobby Hamilton drove the 51 Tommy Ellis drove the 18
