Awesome memories. After I saw that Bo Jackson run I went outside in the backyard and pretended I was him.

Previous versions out there were JIP about 5.00 into the game, so thanks for having this complete from the start. Much appreciated.

When I watched this game live back in 1990 it was JIP so this is actually the first time I have ever seen it from the start, 32 years later.

Bill Walsh hated it when great QBs made dumb plays & you could hear him dying a little on the inside when Elway threw that pick to McDaniel. Dirty pocket, late throw from the far hash to the right sideline while fading to the left with feet not set. Elway during this period was a lot like we all remember Favre being. He could do some absolutely unbelievable stuff (that corner route to Vance Johnson on the final drive, that third quarter deep in to Nattiel, to name just a couple of examples from this game), but he also tried to salvage a lot of plays when he should have chucked the ball to the guy in the fifth row. That play was one of them.

@@poorjf his career numbers aren't great either. Consistently had his team in the mix and terrifying when you had to beat him in a big game. That said I hated Elway and I'm sure everyone here will agree

@@incorrigiblerogue1193: I'm actually a Bronco fan, and I loved Elway growing up. That said, I find myself these days in frequent debates with other Broncos' fans about Elway's legacy. Some fans have serious blinders when it comes to Elway's flaws. My position is that Elway was a deserving first ballot HOFer but does not belong in the "A-Wing" - the imaginary place where the true greatest of the great reside. I cite (1) his relatively pedestrian stats for much of his career (though there were mitigating factors), and (2) the fact that it's hard to identify anything that Elway did that other QBs playing during, immediately before or immediately after his career didn't do just as well. This INT was so emblematic of the first half of Elway's career, when he over-relied on his athleticism and made some terribly undisciplined plays. Walsh (probably an A-winger), whose model QB was Joe Montana (definitely an A-winger), absolutely hated it when great QBs did dumb shit like that.

Thx for sharing. Never understood why the coaching staff didn't put Bo and Marcus together all the time... Misuse of talent! Do you happen to have the MNF game vs. Lions? Can't find that one anywhere!
@manuginobilisbaldspot4244 жыл бұрын
Because Marcus was better as a running back, even subbing with Bo, than primarily a blocking back. Especially with the very good Steve Smith starting at fullback for them.

This was Al's Palpatine era, it was a false hope. Schroeder is probably a good guy but he wouldnt have started for another team.

Yeah...I said "let me edit out the Bo runs first before posting the video". 🙄Thats some real dumbassery shit to say. BTW, it was YT that forced me to edit it out or the whole game would've been blocked. I would send u the link for the actual whole game, but since u wanna come off like a asshat, u don't get sh*t now.
