本当に素晴らしい。横浜の動画の後に拝見しました。私は三浦市に生まれ育ち、横須賀市内の高校へ通い、撮影当時は丁度新卒で横須賀市内に勤めていました。数年後に横浜市内に移り住み、横浜の会社へ転勤しましたが、自分の記憶の中でしか出会う事が出来なかった街並みが映像と音声で残り、30年の時を経て見る事が出来、胸が一杯になります。本当に感謝致します。

この頃は私は高校3年生で、北鎌倉駅で下車して高校へ通っていました。もしかしたらお会いしていたかも、なんて思いながら映像を見させて頂きました。懐かしい、そしてとても貴重な映像ありがとうございます👍

三戸浜近くに住んでます。都内まで京急で通ってます。30年以上前の光景に感動しています。貴重な映像をありがとうございます。昭和の香り漂いますが、90年というとすでに平成なんですね。Good job!

貴重な映像をありがとうございます。当時11歳だった私は新逗子まで習い事に通っていました。 59:00頃からの京急線の車窓の風景は、私が大好きで毎週眺めていたものです。私の記憶の中にしかない映像をもう一度見ることが出来て本当に嬉しいです。

92年に産まれ、横須賀で育ち、逗子にある幼稚園と小学校に通いました。少し時代は古いものの、ほぼ、記憶の中にある風景で、幼いころを思い出し涙が止まりませんでした。記録していただき感謝いたします。

鉄道少年だったこの頃。103系がまだ走ってたり113系のモーター音が懐かしいです。色々懐かしの車輌が出てきますが、一瞬映った東武東上線だけは今と変わらない😂

早朝の街並み、駅のホーム、電車。どこも当時は電灯が少なくて、街中の景色は少し暗く見えますね。今はどこもかしこも、夜中でも明るすぎる。。。

毎日繰り返している日常というのは時間が経ち、思い出したい気持ちになった時に全てを思い出すことはとても困難である。この様な映像記録は今になっては値段をつけれない価値となり、この映像を観た多数の方が思い出を記憶だけではなく映像として見返せるのは本当に感動的だと私は感じている。きっと2024年の横須賀を記録し 2050〜2070年頃に見返す機会があれば、それはまたとんでもない価値になるだろう。

1990 - 23 years ago from yesterday, I spent all day going to and then walking around in Yokosuka and Zushi. もう平成時代にはなっていたものの結構時代の流れを感じますね。 JRはホームの発車メロディーもなく、久里浜駅も自動改札ではなく有人改札。乗られた京急の快特は金沢文庫を出ると横須賀中央と久里浜にしか停まらなかった時代。文字通り「快速特急」でした。

I live in the town somewhere in this video now. It's amazing that I can see the scenery before I moved in. Fewer lightened up shops(convenience store ,cafe, fast food), so the whole towns look like darker than now. If it were one years after, maybe you could happen to meet 5years-old-me ! この動画に映っているどこかの街に、現在住んでいる者です。引っ越してくる前の映像が見られるなんて驚きで、どきどきしながら見ました。コンビニ・カフェ・ファストフード系が全然ないので街全体が暗く感じますね。もし１年後だったら、５歳の私と遭遇してたかもしれません。

I had been walking on the streets of yokosuka many times when I stationed in mainland japan with marines not very long time ago, I also went to Zushi with Japanese friends as well, good time. thanks for sharing your rare footage with us sir

Wow I've been following your channel for a while now but didn't know you even documented Zushi! I visited the exact same places in Zushi last year in October as you did in 1990... 😲 I've also been to Muneyasu temple and the beautiful cemetery... but rather found this place by accident :D Since I took the trip to Zushi on my last day in Japan I remember very well standing at the top of the slope looking at the view and saying goodbye... Thank you for sharing your videos and experiences. To me your videos are like moving ukiyoe of the 90s... images of a floating world :)

Thank you very much for this comment! I especially like the reference to the Ukiyoe images, as I'm a big fan of those old woodblock prints. I never thought to compare what I was doing while taking the videos to those old prints, but it might be that the motivation was similar - an attempt to show an area in the best composition possible.

Thank you Lyle! I was there then. Wish I had taken the train more, but I either walked or drove to the base. Only used the train to go to Tokyo or Yokohama. Miss it!

This train cars In use back then were often nicer than the new ones. Better ventilation and more character.

Keikyu Zushi line and Kurihama line, Keikyu series 2000 is My favorite Keikyu train, and I like Keikyu Wing,

It's crazy how Yokosuka still looks basically the same, even 20 plus years after the fact. Oh, the sign saying that CFAY personnel are prohibited is because there's a military academy there; not sure if anyone else mentioned that below--seeing that my Japanese is...mediocre and has atrophied significantly from what little I knew in the first place. Well, the JR trains look different, though I'm sure they were just as late then as they were the last time I spent significant time in Japan.

113系がまだ、横須賀線・総武快速線を走ってた時代‼️。国鉄から民営化されたとはいえ、この頃は、国鉄型車両が盛んだった時代‼️。

逗子の変わらなさが恐ろしい 42:50駅前ロータリーが以前の状態です 43:07マックが入っているビル以前のビルですが、今も同じ所にありますちなみにマックの入ってたビルの名前がウインドウズで、その中にマックが入ってて笑えました

I bought a lot of paper maps back then! I'd go someplace and immediately look around for a book store, and there was invariably one near the station, so I'd buy an area map there and start walking around. When I got lost, I headed to high ground (hills, building rooftops, etc.) to look around. These days, there are fewer and fewer bookstores, nobody buys paper maps any more, and rooftops are always locked off, so the way I did it then couldn't be done now....

1990年はバブル全盛期で、1992年に株価最高値、付けたあと1993年からバブル崩壊。そこから30年暗闇。だから、世の中は明るかった時代ですね。

正直ちょっと貧乏臭いですね、いわゆる昭和の匂い。日本の街並みって90年代から急激に変わったと思います。

+rast nin 当時のテレビドラマは、最新のピカピカ物ばっかり撮影しましたが、現実は、まだ大分昭和時代が終わったなっかたです。 1990年は、どちらかと言うと、古い物を壊すと新しい物を計画する時代でした。
