Glad you liked the video. The 1994 is a special year because of the 43mm inverted forks. I know I sound like a broken record but I really do love the KDX. It has more torque than a lot of other two strokes without needing a weighted flywheel, but still has enough of a "hit" to let you know you're on a two stroke. In California, most of them are old enough to be grandfathered into a year-round riding season, whereas the later model KTM's, the YZ250's, etc. are all barred from certain parks in the summer due to emissions. I feel like the KDX also has a pretty unique set of handling characteristics that really make it well suited to woods riding or tighter single-track. And that six speed... Glad you're putting the time into yours to get it dialed the way you want it!

What is “nut and bolt” the motor mean?
@GoRideChannel4 жыл бұрын
"Nutting and bolting" is kind-of slang for checking that all the nuts and bolts on a vehicle or system are tight after going through a heat cycle, race, etc. You'll sometimes hear someone say they're going to "nut and bolt" their chassis between rounds at a race, which means they're going to get under the car and make sure nothing has come loose. Hope this helps!

WHAT REAR FENDER ARE YOU USING ON THAT KDX BEEN LOOKING FOR A MOTO TYPE REAR FENDER FOR MY 89??
@GoRideChannel4 жыл бұрын
It happens to be a Maier Plastics PN 14485. I don't know if they're produced anymore; it was on the bike when I bought it. I think you might have to get lucky and find one that's dusty on a shelf somewhere.

@@GoRideChannel wrong. You don't buy the Wrong design and then try to design another type of bike. You don't get robbed by lying salesmen and buy an UNSUITABLE endurance motocross racing bike. Thousands of idiots believed the salesman lies and bought the wrong bike for themselves. WAKE-UP! You didn't buy a trail bike! You bought the kawasaki KDX endurance motocross racing bike and it requires the professionally designed rear fender with a warning light so the other racers don't smash into you during a long distance motocross race. K kawasaki D distance X cross country It doesn't say KTX It doesn't say KWX. You paid for the professionals to tune the bike for motocross racing endurance style.

The professionals tuned the KDX rear fender for motocross racing. It IS the professional motocross racing rear fender for endurance motocross racing. You're crazy if you think its not for motocross racing.

We're watching a man ruin his bike from being uneducated about the thing. Are you even listening to the engine explosions? How many explosions are you hearing in a short period of time? You've got way too many explosions happening. It's only supposed to be doing 2 explosions per cycle. You've got 20 explosions per engine cycle. Your engine is revving It's guts out before you've driven anywhere. You've hit the rev limiter and kept on revving passed the rev limit. It's NOT a high rev Suzuki engine. It's Kawasaki's trademark mid range racing engine. You could go back to the main BIG bang engine if this 2 small explosions engine is too difficult for you to understand. They didn't give you 5000 explosions per engine cycle. Instead of 1 BIG explosion, they divided the 1 explosion into 2 small explosions. You don't have a motor that sounds like, bababaaabangba bang bang. Your engine is supposed to sound like, bang bang, bang bang, bang bang, The old engine was just like, BANG! - - - BANG! - - - etc. The KDX is not a trail bike or a woods bike. Its got nothing to do with woods or trails. It's designed for motocross racing but It's professionally tuned for endurance motocross racing. It's got a nonlinear gearbox, a high rev racing engine, lazy steering and lazy suspension and racing brakes plus special endurance tires.
