I know this is a weird comment but I love the sound of the turn indicators inside these old land yachts lol. Awesome caddie one of my dream cars to collect one day.

The best thing about the last years of this Brougham and the 4 years of its replacement Fleetwood is the Corvette LT1 under the hood. Not only are these the most powerful and reliable of all the 1978-92 Fleetwood/Broughams, there’s tons of cheap and easy mods available at your local hot rod shop to make it really smoke those beautiful wheels :)

Although the new Fleetwood body came out in 1993, it was not until 1994 the LT-1 arrived. The LT-1 was NOT available for the 1990-1992 Brougham models. The 1990 had the Olds 307 as standard, the Chevy L05 350 as option. The 1991 and 1992 had the Chevy 305 as standard and again the Chevy 350 L05 as the option. The 1993 had the L0 5 as standard. In the late 80s through 1992 the Fleetwood was based on the FWD Deville. The Brougham and De Elegance were like the car in the video (NOT a Fleetwood at all).

The LT1 was only used in 94 - 96, and it wasn't the same as the LT1 used in the Vette. Heads were Iron, and the cam was different. I have 4 of the LT1s, 3 of which are in 2 Buick Roadmasters, 1 in a 95 Fleetwood, and the 4th is in the shed

Our department's superintendent was given one of these. This de facto incentivization worked as intended because all we younger employees aspired to own a Cadillac one way or the other. The new Sevilles and Eldorados were hitting the showrooms about and we gravitated to those. They early-'90s Sevilles and Eldorados still look so sleek thirty years later.

Love this Cadillac, in my opinion with this year they finally got it right when it came to the full size (fleetwood) Brougham! Hat's off to your sir if I had company like yours I'd be broke in a year. Because I could never part with Cadillacs as nice as this one.🤣 😂

At 32 yrs of age, I really like the big Cadillacs from the 80s and early 90s. Would be ideal to hide in the trunk with your boyfriend/girlfriend and sneak into a drive in movie, hence they are nicknamed the mob boss car, and best described as "grandma's leather sofa on wheels"

The gas cap behind the license plate, common on many of the large American cars from this era, makes a good conversation starter, for generation Z and Alpha coming of driving age 😁

I love filling up my 96' Chevy Impala SS and the stares I get. As a millinial myself I'm used to this setup as my dad had a 79' Caprice Classic which is what I learned how to drive and I been a fan ever since! Most of my friends' parents' owned the usual suspects (Taurus, Camry, Accord, Intrepid, Civics etc). I had the privilege to learn on V8 RWD and I will teach my daughter with my 15' Charger R/T. It'll be old school for sure while everyone else by then will be learning with self driving appliances and have Zero skill.

Question is it possible to change the seats, convert them to button-tufted seat? Im looking to get a 1991 Maple Red Borugham and it has these types of leather seats but I prefer the button -tufted but im not sure how feasible it would be to change the seats/
@vincentvitiello3528
@vincentvitiello3528 2 жыл бұрын
It is possible. You would have to locate a used set of front and rear seats in a junk yard. Approximate cost if you could locate them is about a $1000. I would check out some vintage Cadillac Part's website for availability. Sooner or later you should be able to locate a set.

Those are the most beautiful Cadillacs GM ever made. 1992 marked the end of this beautiful era, unfortunately no Cadillac came after 1992 with such a beautiful & luxurious design, not even the 1993 fleetwood with the problematic Northstar engine. I regret selling my 83 fleetwood black which was in a mint condition although the engine was the underpowered HT4100 but still the shape and design was extremely head turning. Today we see Cadillac SUV's ....or the CT6 rubbish.... nothing special about them, I believe Cadillac lost that majestic car image.

I would think a 60° setting for your Automatic Climate Control is downright freezing for A/C, or is it not functioning properly? Why isn't it set at a perfect 72° as I do mine?

Driving in circles around a parking lot at 17 mph doesn't prove anything? Doesn't cruise control work? Doesn't Climate Control work? Nobody wants their car to be 60 degrees. They want it at 72, with Climate Control deciding if it needs heat or A/C. What's in the trunk? What's under the hood? Does load-leveler work?
@vincentvitiello3528
@vincentvitiello3528 3 жыл бұрын
Hi Jeff, if you double click my video you will see there's another video showing under the hood,in the trunk and all around the car. As far as demonstrating the cruise control, level ride system and the climate control A/C and heat ,it is almost impossible to show on video. If your very interested you can come see for your self. I promise you won't be disappointed. Please check out the other video. Thanks
