One of the cleanest Typhoons we have ever seen. The paint is very nice Tires have 80% tread. All electronics work and she sure likes to go! This was the fastest production SUV of its time! What the factory boost mines only boosting to around 11/12 psi

@@henryovalles1163 You should be Getting At least 15-18 Psi Boost? The 2 Bar Map Sensor on these typhoons aren’t that Good Change it out to a 3 Bar Map and you should be able to get more Boost.

I've always wondered if you could put like a manual boost controller and turn the boost up a few pounds on these? Or is the ECU sophisticated enough 2 tune for more power? I'm sure it's not like my BMW which I tuned with an Android phone and got a 80 horsepower gain. LOL

Joe, if only! A 1996 OBDII diagnostic port would be a major upgrade, let alone built in bluetooth engine mapping. You need to be a very good mechanic to own and maintain one of these trucks, especially if you want to increase performance significantly but you could try your luck if you're prepared to take the risk. Bolt on direct replacement upgraded turbo kits are readily available on eBay for example. These trucks have a stock 2 bar MAP sensor so above about 29lbs theoretical boost you'd need a 3 bar and extra fuelling, injector and other upgrades but sure, you can use aftermarket Pitbull chips, boost controllers and fit a better Tial type billet wastegate/BOV and increase spring pressure up to a point but you have to be careful brute forcing engine and intercooler components only designed to handle around 14.7 psi or 1 bar. A good stock short block can handle up to about 500hp if it's low miles, (no crank bearing wear) and carefully mapped to avoid lean condition detonation but the 700R4 gearbox becomes an issue at that point unless you have a specialist like J. Waller Performance race prep' it for a couple of k. Visit Syty.net for all things Syclone and Typhoon!

Ughhh, I HAAAAAATE it when people try and sell their "rare" colored car as rarer than other examples. Yes, TECHNICALLY it has a color that most other examples didnt have and by definition it is rarer than other examples BUT, it performes the same, it looks the same, from factory they cost the same.... sometimes I see a car being sold for thousands more just because of the factory color.

@@USA_djhiggi77 Yes it does. That's why people are paying 100 thousand dollars for a 26 year old toyota supra with ORIGINAL paint. It's sentimental value. My Typhoon was repainted. . .Collectors will pay more for original paint, wheels etc. I don't know what bubble you live in.

They are paying for a MK4 supra with virtually non existent miles with the desireable 6 speed manual transmission and twin turbo 2jz! Which not all mk4 supras where made with! Many were not turboed, some were autos, some only had 1 turbo and some only had the w58 5 speed manual! All of which wont fetch 100k original paint or not!!! Obviously the paint on a 100k Supra is going to be nice dumbass. Regardless if the color was rare from factory or not. I can buy an mk4 Supra WITH ORIGINAL PAINT for 25k. You can get them even cheaper than that with original paint dumbass! Is it going to be 6 speed twin turboed or 4k miles? No the fuck it ain't and that's why I can get it so cheap not because the paint isnt a rare color or unoriginal! So excuse me for popping the proverbial bubble that you were hidding in with my own. *mic drop

Okay, I'll go out and buy a mk4 supra and spray it RSP swap out the w58 for the 7000k v160 6speed and 2500 2jgte motor. According to you I'll get 80k plus just because they're all the same. Dude. What the fuck. People want originality, your original post stated that color really doesn't matter because they all perform the same. . . Come on dude that it is completely ridiculous. Go on ANY forum and make the claim that original paint body and matching vins doesn't really add to the value because the cars can be rebuilt and repainted to anything. You'll get laughed at.
