These openings were awesome. And MNF was HUGE in the 90s. ABC did such a great job with production, and this announce team was the best they ever had. Not the most famous or most important as far as legacy (Howard, Dandy Don, and Giff) but still the best at calling a game and capturing the interest of the viewers. Oh and the matchups were fun.

From Week 4 of the 1992 NFL Season and the 23rd Season of ABC'S Monday Night Football involving the Los Angeles Raiders and the Kansas City Chiefs from Arrowhead Stadium. This game was also played on a historical night where in 1892 the first ever recorded night football game was played between the Wyoming Seminary and Mansfield State Normal School in Mansfield,Pennsylvania in which the score was 0-0.
