1992 Princess Rooney Handicap (Calder): Magal

Magal rallied from 8 1/2 length back to post a repeat victory in Calder Race Course's $50,000 Princess Rooney Handicap for fillies and mares. Ruben Hernandez rode the 5-year-old for owner/breeder Dolores Tamargo and trainer Raymond Tarmago. The Florida-bred daughter of Hooched won eight stakes in her career, topped by the 1992 G3 Virginia Handicap at Calder. She won 13 of 28 starts and earned $332,541.
