It's so sad that Jerome Brown died that offseason. That really started a domino effect that affected the team. Where the Cowboys couldn't run up the middle now without Jerome gone, they were able to do that in two games in regular season and one in the playoffs. In this game at least the Eagles had the Saints number and actually beat them in the wildcard game later on in the season.

For what it's worth they did beat Dallas at home on Monday Night this year to start the season 4-0

@@ChrisSuswal-de9tj and the was the last time the Eagles beat Dallas until 1995 game in December with the infamous calling the same run play on 4th down. Other than that, Dallas would run the table on the Eagles up until 2000.

I was in wildwood NJ when news broke that Jerome Brown died. Everyone was in shock.

@@baugh3162 IDK what game you might be thinking about. I was 13 years old. We were coming from The Poconos over the weekend and I remember rushing home to watch this game and caught it around the 2nd quarter. Remember it like it was yesterday. In Philly, they did not black this game out.
