steelers would have gone to more super bowls in the nineties had Neal stayed the quarterback remember Mike Tomzack in 96 and made the playoffs and made the championship game in 97 with Kordell so.....
@antonioriversrivers79253 жыл бұрын
Niel O'DONNELL was Garbage just like all the other Quarterbacks after Terry Bradshaw. O'Donnell nearly cost the Steelers the Superbowl against the Indianapolis Colts had the Colts linebacker made that interception in the AFC championship game.

I agree Neil was a good quarterback for the steelers. Managed the game well. Dint turn the ball over much. I know the super bowl was bad. Hell they wouldn't even have made that super bowl in 95 without Neil thats why steelers voted him team mvp that season.

Nobody denies that he had his moments but his pitiful Super Bowl performance makes all the good he did a complete afterthought.

From this era prematurely? Like 6 or 7, something like that.

Why do the Chargers have a TE in the backfield?
@jtstevenson814 жыл бұрын
That's Rod Bernstine. He was originally a tight end when he came into the league, but the Chargers converted him to a running back. He still kept his tight end number though (#82.)

@@jtstevenson81 Also, it appears that the Chargers under Bobby Ross seemed to be trying to emulate the Joe Gibbs-era Redskins (probably not coincidentally that was Bobby Beatherd's previous job as a GM)
@jtstevenson813 жыл бұрын
@@hrtvfan2870 Yep, I grew up going to the games during that Era and we were often called "Redskins West." The team was built around a big offensive line, a big running back, and a game manager quarterback. It worked well against a lot of the AFC teams, but against the NFC powers like San Francisco, Dallas and Green Bay, we would always get killed.
@tiatrips2 жыл бұрын
@@jtstevenson81 That's probably from the NFC playing the Redskins more often, especially the Giants and Dallas.
