Nice ones are impossible and when you do find one they are crazy expensive. Black and silver was the first one I saw on a showroom floor and the one I want to get.

I lucked out on mine. She’s all original except for what appears to be a period correct aftermarket can, that I can’t identify. 22k miles on her. I drove three hours to pick it up last year.

I remember looking at this bike in a dealership, I could not afford it at the time. I had a love for the zx7. I need a 90’s sport bike in my garage!

First one I saw was the black and silver couldn’t afford it but was able to get a new fzr600.

I like that you got yours out for a nice ride. You doing yours anytime soon or to busy with customers bikes? Pretty sure I’m going to clear my schedule later in the year to do a cafe build I’ve had in my head for awhile

@@mmotorcycles9497 Id really like to start it this year, have everything I need but the time. Even got a donor bike for the running gear as mine has a 1000rr front end at the moment. I’ve taken on a lot more customer bikes this year, which I used to limit so I could prioritize my bikes. I’ve been inundated with requests to recommission long forgotten VF1000R’s, after that video series. Shame you’re not in my neck of the woods, could really do with a painter I can trust to outsource work to! Make sure to share videos on the cafe racer once you get going, using a modern chassis or going old school?

@MCSR52 1972 cb100 I’m going to build it with late 80’s and 90’s sportbike parts. I wanna make it look like it was built in the 90’s. I’ll definitely do a build series party just to show I can do More then paint lol. It will be cool to see the 900rr get restored if I’m not mistaken it’s a white one and I can feel you on getting stuck on one kind of bike to restore after a video series comes out been there for sure
