I worked on the post production of this commercial...here are some facts: The FX are good but not stellar because of limited financial resources, not because of limited creative or technological resources. @Markswier-can't give you exact numbers, but if I recall, the budget was ≈ $300k. @sephyiroth-the sunset desert "tripping peyote fest" ad was the best. We rough cut that one to Peter Gabriel's "A Different Drum". An amazing adventure in editorial.

Not sure if that was the right Commercial I was talking about.. The one you mentioned doesn't sound familar (well the song atleast) ... I'm still on the search for it... Guy wearing Sunglasses/Shades riding through the Desert eating Jolly ranchers in an Oldschool Low rider Cadillac or something and running into the sunset while a song plays. It most def was Jolly Ranchers though, Had to come out in the 90s (1995-98ish)..

Okay, I see these came in a pack similar to Life Savers. I vaguely remember that. However, I'm pretty sure I remember getting them (lemon, my favorite!) when i was small in the late 80s and I thought I remembered it as being individually wrapped similar to the way they are today - just with more of a gold colored wrapper and no redesigned logo yet?
