It kind of pees me of as Mazda get all the credit for these little cars when in fact the whole car was designed by Suzuki engineers, Even the engine was built by Suzuki. The Suzuki version called the Cara is definitely the rarer version as I hardly ever see one for sale.

It was Suzuki, it was originally called the Suzuki Cara, back when Suzuki and Mazda were still doing joint ventures. Autozam actually rebadged Jimnys as well. These cars have an aluminum honeycomb chassis, basically NASA worthy engineering. Suzuki is the best!

@@jessebrown1400 Suzuki Cara are rebadged AZ-1, they came out 1 year after AZ-1. Yes Suzuki developed the AZ-1, but didn't want their own version until afterwards
