Just going to refit my rear calipers soon is the handbrake self adjusting or do I have to keep adjusting until I get it right? Thanks 👍
@bitingantz2 жыл бұрын
@@jamesjames215 if the hand brake was working fine before it should not require adjustment. If not you have to adjust under the car where the two cable meet.

Are there any rubber seals in the parking brake mechanism? I’m getting them powder coated but I don’t know how to disassemble the parking brake assemble
@bitingantz Жыл бұрын
I dont beleive there are any seals if you separate the parking brake from the caliper. But, i have never pulled that section apart.
@Jursaw Жыл бұрын
@@bitingantz I just looked up another video and there is a o-ring on the threaded shaft. I will probably make a video on how to take it apart.

Hi, what was involved in removing the e-brake to get the whole calliper and bracket off, please? I have one slide pin that has totally seized, so I can’t swing the calliper up to access anything :/
@bitingantz3 жыл бұрын
Hello, just remove the pin on the end of the ebrake cable where it’s connected to caliper. After that slide out the cylinder that the pin was in and cable is separated from main caliper.
