Recon on the 348 is coming along nicely! Got the stock wheels back on it. Spoiler refinished and a paint correction and ceramic coating done. Seats and top next.

Beautiful car. Had the pleasure of driving one in Vegas a while back. The 348, 355, 360 and 430 are the last of the greats when it comes to Ferrari. After the 430, everything started to look like space ships and they did away with manual transmissions. Congrats on owning that beauty!

Camera tip to avoid the seesaw effect you’re getting while walking around on nice flat ground - get a tripod and mount it on a flat dolly. Then you can roll the whole thing as you move, which should help stop that back and forth motion that you’re getting that distracts from what you’re talking about

Its not or never for the 348. the all analog 348 is the predecessor to the consensus best sports car Ferrari ever made - the 355. the 348 doesn't have the expensive to repair brass value and/or electronic suspension issues the 355 has. the 348 represents Less is More and Older is Easier when it comes to Ferrari Sports cars. Most anyone can work on a 348 on most repairs as while the 348 is not a grocery getter its definitely a daily driver. Also the 348 has a flat plane crank which generates the same F1 exhaust note as Formula one cars use flat plane cranks to lower the weight of the cars. the 348's exhaust note sounds "pissed." at $65k for a 30k mile or less 348 it's now or never before 348s become the air cooled 911s of the Porsche community. You can't lose with a solid 348. Slam dunk. No bigger bang for the buck out there.

Hearing you comment on this car I can almost say that I am sure it is a keeper. I can hear your passion for it. Remember to check the fuel lines because they have a reputation to burn because of faulty fuel lines but I guess you must know it already
